Ubicada en una de las avenidas más transitadas de la Roma Norte, representa el concepto del “Nuevo Oaxaca”: un diseño que fusiona las raíces de los clientes con una perspectiva futurista, armonizando lo tradicional y lo contemporáneo. Los materiales, como un ensamble, unen la tierra, evocando lo cálido y tradicional, con el metal, representando el frío y lo reflectante de la esencia urbana de la Ciudad de México. La mezcalería se organiza en tres atmósferas distintas mediante arcos, ofreciendo una experiencia rica y variada a pesar de su tamaño compacto. En primer lugar, la fachada, que se integra a la calle con un elemento dual que sirve como banca y acceso, destacando el color naranja del interior, creando la sensación de una fogata en el corazón de la ciudad. Al interior, colores y texturas envuelven a los visitantes en una ambientación cálida. La barra de metal que atraviesa el centro del espacio y se extiende a lo largo del local se convierte en el elemento central que organiza y divide el funcionamiento del bar, fomentando la interacción social. Finalmente, el área de servicio busca preservar la construcción existente con intervenciones mínimas, insertando piezas específicas que complementan el funcionamiento del espacio. Diamantina se presenta como un espacio que va más allá de sus dimensiones físicas, fusionando la riqueza cultural de Oaxaca con la vitalidad de la Ciudad de México.

Diamantina, located on one of the busiest avenues in Roma Norte, embodies the concept of the “New Oaxaca”: a design that merges the roots of its customers with a futuristic perspective, harmonizing the traditional and the contemporary. Materials, like an assembly, unite the warm and traditional earthen finish with the cold and reflective metal, representing the urban essence of Mexico City. This interaction symbolizes the city embracing and complementing Oaxaca’s heritage. The mezcal bar is divided into three distinct atmospheres through arches, offering a rich and varied experience despite its compact size. Firstly, the connection with the city is manifested in the facade, integrating with the street through a dual element serving as both a bench and an entrance. The orange color inside highlights the feeling of a bonfire in the heart of the city. Inside, colors and textures envelop visitors in a warm environment. The metal bar across the space and extending throughout the venue becomes the central element organizing and dividing the bar’s operations, fostering social interaction. Lastly, the service area aims to preserve the existing construction with minimal interventions, inserting specific pieces that complement the functionality of the space. Diamantina emerges as a space that transcends its physical dimensions, blending the cultural richness of Oaxaca with the vitality of Mexico City.
