El proyecto se encuentra en un corredor el cual divide dos cerros de la bahía de Santo Madero, Huatulco. Este se distingue por su volumetría ya que tomó forma a partir de la conexión entre el corredor y la naturaleza circundante. Esta misma fuerza que se genera entre el pasaje y el entorno rompe el volumen en dos masas principales, las cuales se unen por un basamento en forma de pórtico a nivel peatonal. El espacio intermedio entre los volúmenes principales logra un espacio permeable albergando las áreas comunes y las circulaciones.
La fachada cumple con la función de transmitir la zonificación interna del edificio, revelando las actividades que acontecen en su interior. El respeto por el sitio y el contexto se refleja en la consideración de las vistas hacia la montaña y el corredor, generando una diversidad de tipologías en todos los niveles, con una disposición que respeta el orden y la simetría del proyecto.
Es importante destacar que la arquitectura local desempeñó un papel crucial en la concepción del proyecto, siendo un punto de referencia clave. La integración de formas y materiales autóctonos, como techos inclinados, teja y otros elementos locales, no solo honra la identidad arquitectónica de la región, sino que también enriquece la propuesta con una autenticidad que se fusiona con el entorno. En este proyecto, la arquitectura no solo cumple con su función utilitaria, sino que también se convierte en el resultado del balance entre las exigencias del desarrollador, las normativas vigentes y la creatividad del estudio.

The project is located in a corridor that divides two hills in the bay of Santo Madero, Huatulco. It stands out for its volume, as it took shape based on the connection between the corridor and the surrounding nature. The force generated between the passage and the environment itself breaks the volume into two main masses, which come together through a pedestrian-level portico.
The intermediate space between the main volumes achieves a permeable area, including common areas and vertical and horizontal circulation. The facade fulfills the function of conveying the internal zoning of the building, revealing the activities taking place inside. The respect for the site and context is reflected in the consideration of views towards the mountain and the corridor, creating a diversity of typologies which respond to the order and symmetry of the project.
